Sister Sparrow Website Upgrade Proposal

This document details Billing, Goals, Milestones, Site Map, Data Model and Open Questions related to your website upgrade.

All work is billed at $75/hour
When this proposal accurately describes the Project, we will sign a contract based on the contents
The Project is made up of Milestones. Each Milestone is estimated with a range of billable hours prior to starting work
Third-party fees for which client is responsible, such as hosting and software licenses, will be detailed before begining a milestone
When work on this Project starts, 50% of the low end of the estimate is due
If the upper end of the estimate is approached at any time during the course of work on the Project, we will communicate and agree on the way forward
When the Project is published on the internet, the remaining balance is due
If the contracting business entity has a presence in Texas, 8.25% sales tax will be collected for website development services

Upgrade website with standards compliant techniques which embrace best practices in Search Engine Optimization, Navigation, Findability and Social Networking
Provide an administrative interface for maintaining the website
Improve Google results (current home page rank: 2)
Redesign look-and-feel and layout with a focus toward a positive and aesthetically consistent user experience
Migrate website & Tumblr blog to Wordpress hosted by Prodigous Design
Blog with support for Google Maps and Social Networks
Facebook : per-page and per-blog-post like buttons, profile page links, 'Like Box' activity stream plugin
Twitter : per-blog-post re-tweet buttons, profile page links, 'Tweet Stream' plugin
Google+ : per-blog post '+' buttons
ArtistData : show listing plugins, RSS feeds
Sales: promote iTunes, Amazon and Bandcamp purchasing options
Setup Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools accounts
Minimize use of Flash, and where posible provide alternatives and make website degrade gracefully on devices that don't support Flash.
